[ well, it isn't as if charles has any particular objections to drawing it out, as it were — there's a pleasant warmth inside him, one that comes not from anywhere else but perhaps simply his own soul, and if they lose several more minutes by kissing each other, slow and deep and unhurried, that's just fine, isn't it? he doesn't mind; they're not on a schedule, here.

with a laugh bubbling under his breath, ] That's how it's gonna be, is it? Right, [ he says, with the kind of grin that he only gets when he's about to follow through on something probably inadvisable, or about to show off, or perhaps both — ]

You helped yourself get up here, didn't you, love? So you've gotta help, now, too. Hold on tight.

[ that's all the warning he gives before he slides his hands under junpei's thighs and takes a step back. and another step, and another, until he's supporting him entirely on his own (well, with the help of junpei clinging to him, of course, arms and legs around him).

and he stops, then, halfway to the bed, to give him a thorough kiss; and then, looking just somewhat smug, he walks them over to the bed and leans down, intent on setting junpei there on his back... he'll need to let go first for that to happen, though. ]
