Thank you, Charles. We can get our own place if you want to kick us out, too. It sounds ridiculous, but it just didn't occur to me before. The only semi-permanent home I've had in years was an abandoned subway station in Chinatown. My life is wacky that way.

She's really amazing. She has a personality disorder, which means she doesn't feel things like the rest of us. But I know you won't judge her for that.

Nothing is permanent. That doesn't mean it doesn't matter. It matters to me a lot.
